Mianne  Adufutse is a graduate of Columbia College of Chicago where she studied fiction  writing and poetry. At Columbia Mianne was  awarded a Campus Life Recognition.  She also studied African, Urban and Women's Issues and Psychology at Wayne State University  where she received her MSW.

Mianne is half Ghanian and half Black American and enjoys reading and writing juicy novels you can't put down with protagonist female, African-American characters, poetry, prose and various genre short pieces.  

Mianne has been a two time guest on WDET 101.9 FM's The Metro and spoke of her published works. 

She is currently a social worker in the metro Detroit area and is attending an MFA program at Alma College in Michigan. 

When she is not working on new projects she is watching sunsets, singing, practicing bellydance,  trying to cook new vegetarian dishes or traveling.
